It’s here! Amazon’s big summer sale, Prime Day 2025 (or what we should probably start calling Prime Week 2025, is the event is running over four days this year). Prime Day 2025 has officially kicked off today, Tuesday 8 July 2025 and deals will be running all the way through to Friday 11 July.

Although the sales from Prime Day are not as popular as Black Friday the deals are often just as good – and sometimes better. There should be some huge discounts to tempt boaters to part with their hard-earned cash.  Last year saw some really good deals from Prime Day paddleboard deals to dry bag deals.

You’ll need an Amazon Prime membership to take part in the biggest shopping event of the year (so far), but if you don’t want to subscribe, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Prime instead.

You can cancel at any time within 30 days, so if you subscribe now, you can take advantage of Prime Day 2024 boating deals and you’ll still have plenty of time to cancel without paying the year’s subscription fee.

Although Prime Day is officially an Amazon initiative, the following stores all usually offer good deals over the same period, so we’ve linked to their deals pages below as we expect they will have some decent deals for Prime Day 2025.

Note: We may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site, at no extra cost to you. This doesn’t affect our editorial independence.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AMAZON PRIME DAY

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Think of it as another Black Friday. Prime Day used to be a 48-hour flash sale from Amazon, where, for two days only, consumers can grab a whole host of bargains. However, for the first time 2025 will see the sales run over four full days. It’s online only and is held to mark Amazon’s birthday. Prime Day started in 2015 on Amazon’s 20th birthday, with this year being its 29th.

Which brands are taking part in Prime Day 2025?

Lots of big brands are offering deals, such as Philips, Bosch, Miele and Samsung, but we’ve also seen plenty of sailing brands getting involved too, such as Bluefin, Helly Hansen, Sebago, Sperry and Steiner. And not only that, but given the popularity of the summer sales, other companies tend to join in too, so you can expect sales from brands like Walmart, Decathlon, REI, West Marine and more.

Didn’t find what you’re looking for? Head to Amazon’s dedicated sailing page for more marine products.
